Sken upp

Joan Van Ark – “There could never be a more polar opposite . . . than Larry Hagman . . . and death. He so totally loved, embraced and lived LIFE, both on and off the camera. I am so sad and still in shock. But the key chain that he gave out at his 80th birthday party is one of the legacies he leaves. It says: “Be Happy.” Live, love and “hug” life. He would want us to do that . . . forever more. God bless you, Larry.”
David Jacobs(creator of Dallas) – “J.R. Ewing was not the result of a marriage between character and actor; it was closer than that. It was synergy. Larry Hagman was a colorful character, a superb (actually, under-rated) actor, a terrific story-teller, good company. His death is J.R.’s death. And a great loss.”
Charlene Tilton - “At seventeen years old my life took a turn that one could only dream of. I was cast as Lucy Ewing in the iconic show Dallas. Dallas was so much more than a television phenomenon to me. It was my family. I grew up with a mentally ill single mother raising me and no father figure in my life. I lived on my own in an apartment from the age of fifteen. I remember the day I met the force of nature that is Larry Hagman like it was yesterday. (It was actually 35 years ago). My Uncle Larry became the father figure that I so needed and longed for. He taught me how to be professional, work hard but have fun at the same time, and how to respect the opportunities I was blessed to have been given. He was very protective because I was so young, but also expected the best from me on the set of Dallas. He was one of the best actors the world has ever known. To me he will always be my Uncle Larry. I am so so very sad, but cherish the lifetime of memories I have with him.”
Brenda Strong – “Being able to work with one of my childhood idols was a dream come true. He was one of the most resilient and positive people I’ve ever known. Larry’s tremendous talent and contribution as an artist is only surpassed by his gigantic heart and how beloved he was by his friends, especially Patrick and Linda. He is a one of a kind and will be deeply missed. My heart breaks for his family’s loss. Quite honestly, I can’t believe he is gone. He lived life to the fullest and was the embodiment of the term ‘light hearted.’ He was and will continue to be an icon in our hearts and minds.”
Victoria Principal “Larry was bigger than life..on screen and off. He is unforgettable, and irreplaceable, to millions of fans around the world, and in the hearts of each of us, who was lucky enough to know and love him. Look out God…Larry’s leading the parade.”
Susan Howard ” Larry was a wonderful actor, an incredible personality and a man who knew the entertainment business. it is truly the end of an era–my prayers go out to his children and grandchildren as they navigate this difficult time in their lives.”
Julie Gonzalo – “I had the great honor to work with an incredible man. I’m humbled to have been a part of his life. I will cherish you forever. RIP my friend “
Barbara Eden who starred alongside Larry on I Dream of Jeannie and Dallas – “Larry Hagman not just a great actor, not just a television icon, but an element of pure Americana. I’ll miss him”
Jordana Brewster “I feel lucky and humbled to have worked with such a great man and actor. We will miss you, Larry. “
Judith Light – “So sad 2 hear the news re the brilliant gracious extraordinary Larry Hagman. He will b missed. Sending love 2 all specially Linda & Patrick”
Ken Kercheval – “A friend and long time partner… the other half…RIP Larry Hagman…. your spirit will live long.”
Claudia Lonow (Knots Landing) – “Sad about Larry Hagman. He’d guest star on “Knots.” He’d walk around wearing pink sunglasses and a beanie with a propeller on top”
Larry King - “I’m shocked. Larry Hagman was a dear man who had an incredible career. He helped me to stop smoking. He really was a very special person.”
Morgan Brittany who played Katherine Wentworth – “Love you Larry! RIP JR and know that you will always be a legend! No one can top you Larry, no one”
In a joint statement issued by Dallas studio Warner Bros. TV and Dallas executive producers Cynthia Cidre and Michael M. Robin, as well as the cast and crew, they celebrated Hagman’s “giant, larger-than-life personality.” Hagman had filmed six of the 15 episodes for the new season.
“Larry Hagman was a giant, a larger-than-life personality whose iconic performance as J.R. Ewing will endure as one of the most indelible in entertainment history,” the statement said. “He truly loved portraying this globally recognized character, and he leaves a legacy of entertainment, generosity and grace. Everyone at Warner Bros. and in the Dallas family is deeply saddened by Larry’s passing, and our thoughts are with his family and dear friends during this difficult time.”
“All of us at TNT are deeply saddened at the news of Larry Hagman’s passing,” said TNT in a statement. “He was a wonderful human being and an extremely gifted actor. We will be forever thankful that a whole new generation of people got to know and appreciate Larry through his performance as J.R. Ewing. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this very difficult time.”
Sedan kom Larrys bästa vän Linda Gray som spelar Sue Ellen med hennes hyllning.
“Larry Hagman was my best friend for 35 years. He was the Pied Piper of life and brought joy to everyone he knew,” . “He was creative, generous, funny, loving and talented and I will miss him enormously. He was an original and lived life to the fullest. The world was a brighter place because of Larry.”
“Friday, I lost one of the greatest friends ever to grace my life. The loneliness is only what is difficult as Larry’s peace and comfort is always what is important to me, now as when he was here,” Duffy said in a statement. “He was a fighter in the gentlest way, against his obstacles and for his friends. I wear his friendship with honor.”

Idag twittrade han "Sorry I have been somewhat missing lately. Been a rough last few weeks. Can´t thank y'all enough for the love and prayers. Means the world"
